You can find more detailed answers on this site. Basically, we take a physical deck of cards and place it in our patented automated system which checks the deck is complete, scrambles, shuffles, digitizes the order of cards, encrypts the result, delivers the encrypted deck as soon as is called for by an online game. At that point (if Real Deal Poker software is used), the player who has the dealer button is asked to cut the deck by placing a cursor (or finger on a mobile device) at the point where the cut is required. Cards are then dealt as per a live poker game, including burning the cards before; flop, turn and river.

We know that a great number of people do not trust computer random number generators, but (until Real Deal technology) RNG was the only way to provide a deck to an online game. However, it is impossible to audit RNG, this is why every State/National lottery uses real ping pong balls to provide the draw numbers, you can see the balls, count them, watch them being chosen in order and understand it. To quote Derek Webb, President of Prime Table Games, "a deck of cards is the true Random Card Generator". By using physical decks of cards we are able to provide to each game a unique deck that is one of the 80 duovigintillion combinations of a 52 card deck with the knowledge that statisitically we will probably never duplicate a deck. What more could you expect from a card game?

Poker Stars deals approximately 640 games per second. We have no limitations of scale on providing any number of unique decks needed for online games.

The automated system ensures that the decks are complete, then washed (similar to how a dealer 'washes' the deck prior to shuffling), shuffled, then digitized. All decks are held on a secure server, accessible only to 2 authorized RDP personnel and only with CEO approval. Once a game is ready to start, a deck is chosen, encrypted and delivered. It is impossible for anyone to 'see' a deck before it is dealt. Furthermore, the deck is cut by the player prior to being dealt and cards are 'burnt' during the deal, as in live poker.

Absolutely not. First of all, you would never get a video tape from an rng string and that tape is key to the overall ability to guarantee an audit process that actually has some meaning and functionality behind it. Our patented process was reviewed and revised numerous times over a 5 year period to evolve into what it is today. The majority of players do not really comprehend the effort and thought that went into this entire process and the careful crafting of these systems driven by the need for transparency and integrity.

Every card in a shuffled deck passes through a barcode reader and the sequence is digitized, at the same time, a video is made of the decks order. We are so certain that our systems produce the World’s only fully auditable, truly random deck of cards, that we are putting up a huge payout for anyone on a table who plays with a deck in the same order as any other deck ever dealt by us. However, we are going one further than that! Coming soon, every player will be able to click in the poker room software and watch the deck be created. How cool is that! You cannot do that with any other poker room.

We wanted to be as close to live poker as possible. However, the cut has another purpose and that is to stop computer 'bots'.

We have operated our own poker room in the past and it was very warmly received by players. We shall shortly be working with a respected gaming software company who will work with us to develop a Real Deal Poker Network. We want other poker brands to join us on that network to share our real deck technology. We are poker players too! We know we need liquidity to ensure a good poker experience for the players.

We have successfully completed a fund-raising round which allowed us to complete some important software updates and to commence work developing the poker network and another B2B project (also poker related). Once we have completed the network build and have tested our own gaming platform, we shall enter a second round of fund-raising. These funds will allow us to offer real money poker once again and to further integrate some new functions in the software. These functions are ground-breaking and will set us further apart from other poker providers.

We evaluate our systems daily and are always monitoring their performance, results, etc. and continually strive to perfect the systems for the benefit of the player experience. Real cards are instruments that can provide a truly random deck. We can provide as quickly as any RNG so why not use realk cards? it really is that simple and we need to get the message across to the players.

Yes, absolutely. We are going to be part of a poker network that uses our Real Deal technology, why not join us?
